Aeroflot, the Russian state airline, is to give free one way tickets to passengers who found themselves caught up in the Christmastime airport collapse.
Passengers who experienced problems with flights between Dec. 26 and Dec. 29 are entitled to a free flight, so long as they use it within the year.
“Passengers can apply for a certificate before Feb. 28. It is valid until the end of 2011,” an airline representative told Interfax.
Aeroflot and Domodedovo airport subject to an investigation by the Audit Chamber, it was announced earlier this week.
The airline says that any demands for cash compensation will have to go through the courts.
