Vekselberg faces questions over Hungarian property fraud

Viktor Vekselberg is the latest person who might be dragged into a scandal over dubious land deals involving the former Hungarian embassy in Krasnaya Presnya.

Earlier a former Hungarian ambassador was implicated in the alleged scam, which saw the building sold at an inflated profit, Vedomosti reported.

And now Vekselberg himself is coming under investigation for his role in the deal, with the Skolkovo supremo potentially liable for international legal action due to his assets in Switzerland and the US, according to Alexei Navalny of Rospil.info.
