Source  at 02/04/2012

The president of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, has attended a concert in support of the jailed members of Pussy Riot, RIA Novosti reported on Monday, citing Estonian media sources. Three members of the feminist punk band Pussy Riot were detained and are awaiting trial after allegedly performing a “punk prayer,” in the Christ the Savior Cathedral on Feb. 21. The concert in their support was held in Tallinn on Sunday evening and saw performances by Estonian bands and was attended by Russian rock critic Artemy Troitsky.

“There has not been a concert in support of these punk girls in Russia, it turns out that Estonia was the first state in the world that has shown solidarity with them,” RIA Novosti quoted Troitsky as saying.
