United Russia could win 120% of seats in Chechen parliament

If United Russia needed to win 115-120 per cent of the votes for the Chechen parliamentary elections then that’s just what they’d win, claims parliament speaker Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov.

He said that Chechen head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin had the complete support of the people and that if these men were not in charge of the party then the case would be completely different.

He heaped praise upon Kadyrov as “an outstanding officer in support of the Russian state” and an “uncompromising warrior against terrorism,” Ekho Moskvy reported.
