Guru Groove Foundation is one of the new acts on the domestic dance electronic scene, which is quickly gaining popularity. The musical style of Guru Groove Foundation can be more or less accurately described as a mixture of neo-soul, electro-funk, acid-jazz, house and broken-beat.

Formed in 2008 and fronted by attractive redhead Tatyana “Shanyana” Shamanina, the band has taken part in a number of festivals, including the Afisha Picnic, Migz, Usadba Jazz, Kazan Kremlin Live, Lady in Jazz and Chereshnevy Les. Guru Groove Foundation has contributed songs to the soundtracks of a few movies and the series “Bolshiye Nadezhdy”, aired by MTV. Last May, the band presented its first full-fledged album, “Call Me Up,” the material from which is likely to account for the main part of the B2 gig.
